🍡Ingredients:- 200g granulated sugar
- 100g water (sugar to water ratio: 2:1)
🍡Tools:- Electronic scale
- Nonstick pan
- Heat-resistant silicone spatula
- IH stove or gas stove
🍡Instructions:- Prepare the fruit: Select your favorite fruit for the skewers, such as large strawberries, small tomatoes, or cherries.
- Measure ingredients: Measure out the granulated sugar and water using a container.
- Dissolve sugar: Bring the water to a boil and pour it into the container with the granulated sugar.
Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. - Boil the syrup: Bring the sugar syrup to a boil, then reduce the heat to low (around 500W)
and cook for 12-15 minutes without stirring.
(The sugar should turn an amber color and become thick and syrupy, reaching a stringy consistency.) - Coat the fruit: Hold the fruit skewers with one hand and slowly rotate them while drizzling the
hot caramel syrup over them with the other hand until they are evenly coated.
Tips:
- For a more visually appealing presentation, you can use different colored fruits to create colorful skewers.
- To prevent the caramel from hardening too quickly, work quickly and efficiently.
Enjoy your homemade crispy caramel coated fruit!
